A friend gave me an old M42 200 mm lens since hewas unable to make use of it. I bpoght this adapter to see if the lens was still viable. The adapter connects to both the lens and the camera very positively and cleanly. A good sign is that the red focussing mark and the aperture equivalent are top dead centre.The lens is of the early aperture preset type where you set the desired aperture, but the lens remains fully open until you spin the ring adjacent to the aperture ring to close down prior to exposure.Clearly one can either use a meter and set the shutter speed manually or leave the camera meter to set it at the time of exposure. Clearly the exposure time displayed will only be accurate with the lens stopped down. Focus will obviously be manual, but with Olympus bodies you will get image stabilisation if you manually set the focal length.An interesting experience using a lens designed for cameras several generations of development back, pretty well using the same techniques we were using 60 years ago.This adapter feels so well made that it was a pleasure to use it.

This is an excellent little adapter, I have some old M42 lenses that my godmother gave to me along with her old camera many years ago. For the price of this little yoke I now have a whole new set of primes for my GH5. Such a great little product! K&F Concept make great affordable products, I've purchased a few of their items now and will continue to as their products are of a very high quality.

This adaptor is a great fit on my GH5 for my Helios 44-M. No light leaks, easy to fit, doesn’t come loose when changing the lens. You do have to adjust the ibis (double the focal length, I use 116, so it’s a definite portrait lens) but it gives a new lease of life to a lovely lens. Everything works fine. Well worth it and gives you a great vintage lens in your kit.

No complaints at all. Came super quick, solid metal build, does the job with no problems. Converted old Zenit lenses to my Panasonic. 5/5

Nice and simple adapter. I've bought cheap off ebay before and the finish is horrible. This adapter's exterior finish does not look out of place next to my expensive Olympus Camera. I use it when adapting my old Helios or CZ Jena Lenses to Olympus. Nice work K & F.
