I am loving this new camera backpack. It is just what I was looking for.It holds my DSLR, with my standard wide/mid angle lens plus my telephoto lens. I can store extra memory cards, batteries and filters in the provided compartments. There is plenty of protection around the camera, and then there is extendable storage above the camera to load everything I would need on a day hike or even possibly an overnight trip deep in the woods.Everything is well made and seems to be good materials. The buckle is solid. There is plenty of padding making it comfortable all day.I would recommend to anyone with the same needs as I have. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Bag was extremely cheaply made and broke on first use at the zipper. Definitely not a bag meant for actual professional use and more geared towards the amateur or hobbyist. I would not trust this with my more expensive equipment at all.Could barely fit anything in the bag, and the protective padding wasn’t even thicker than a piece of the thinner cardboard. No so safe at all.Feel like it was a complete waste of money.Do yourself a favor and buy a reputable brand. Thule makes an awesome bag that’s similar with the roll up concept and is VERY well made.

What I use this bag for:Run-&-Gun Photography and Video. I've had this bag now for 2-3 weeks of use on jobs. I needed a bag that could hold a small amount of camera gear safely, which includes (1) camera with lens attached, (2) Camera Flash, (3) Lens components. I also needed it to hold 1 external light, a GoPro with a Gimbal attached, batteries, chargers, a tablet and a clip board. The camera compartment leaves much to be desired, but if you are running a small camera for ventures on a hike, this is your bag. Top storage is great and separates the camera below from whatever is above. The camera compartment itself feels like an afterthought. I wouldn't store any prime lenses for too long in that department. Overall the bag is a success for short projects. Great for short day hikes. But...Pros:+Canvas bag has been treated with a rubberized, water resistant film which adds to dexterity. I don't know how strong it would be without this.+Zippers are quality+/- Has a cobra belt clamp (which is half the price of the bag)+Comes with a mini water resistant "raincoat" (see pics)Overall good for the moneyCons:-Camera compartment materials are substandard and a bit small, hard but thin.-Elastic strap that surrounds the removable camera compartment was already deteriorating and flimsy-Ergonomics and weight distribution of the bag when used with both straps on is an afterthought. It pulls away from your back if you have any real weight at the top of the bag instead of pushing downward like most bags.-Not much protection for the top of the bag-The compartments for cards and batteries is ill-placed and virtually unusable.-Cobra belt clasps are usually $30 dollars by themselves. So the bag is really priced out of its league without it. That says something about the longevity of this bag.-Camera compartment does not fully zip completely, Its in the design, not a flaw in my actual bag.
My new everyday carry! My new everyday carry!

I was surprised by the quality of this backpack. It felt a lot better and rugged than the photos had originally made it seem.PROs: Comfortable padded straps over the shoulders -I like the bright (so you can see small items in it) interior for the camera and lenses-Lots of room for a smaller DSLR and several lenses (I put my flashes in the compartment on top)-I like the slide out compartment too, so I don't tip everything up top out when getting a new lens.-Affordable, especially compared to other camera backpacks on the market!Cons - I wish there were more colors available.Otherwise, I'm a happy customer and look forward to seeing how well it holds up over time!
Everything about this camera backpack screams QUAlITY!

I am a professional photographer and I spend a lot of time out on commercial fishing boats here in Maine - my search for a bag that could hold my gear safely and not be obnoxious to use has been long and pricey. I randomly found this bag in my Amazon search one day - and I am so glad! This bag was worth it.I recently did a 3 day tour out on two Maine islands with several boats. This bag survived a few lobster hauls and a kelp harvest - but more importantly - NOTHING was wrong or even damp in my gear (except from what water I got on them while shooting). The bottom structure could use slightly stickier velcro on the bottom pull out tray, but it wasn't a problem during use, just a note. I set a small SLR bag inside the open roll top area for a second big SLR and used the bottom tray for my DSLR and a Nikonos V (film dive camera). I was able to fit film, a light meter, 2 large SLRs, a dive camera (about the size of a mirrorless with lens), and some rain covers for gear. I did carry my laptop in it on the trip to the islands, and that worked well, I just removed it for the shoots on the water. It was also very easy to access my gear - no fiddling around and feeling like the bag was slowing me down. It was also really comfortable to wear. I'm a small person, and I carried heavy gear up and down ramps at low tide (that's a 20' climb), over the sides of boats, in and out of skiffs, and through some trails to get down to the shoreline and never really had to readjust or shift the bag.One notable thing about this bag is the exterior material. It was really tough. I really abused this thing and it was ok. It got bait spilled on it, lots of sea water splashed on it, kelp was stuck to it, I dragged it across a rough lobster trap when I was in a hurry to move ... nothing damaged it and it wiped clean really easily, so it doesn't stink like a lot of my other bags still do after similar abuse. The clasp on the roll top is arguably one of the toughest ones I've ever used. It's a really great feature.Survival story: On my 2nd haul, they dumped the tank they keep their lobsters on deck at the lobster pound so they could weigh them, and I had forgotten my bag down at the stern (where it drains). The water rushed down and the bag was sitting right in 3" of water for several seconds - nothing got wet except the fabric straps on the exterior and the padded back. Also, earlier some bait splashed up onto it, and it was pretty ripe. I emptied it out (removed the tray) and threw it in the tub in cold water with some castile soap and vinegar at home and it dried out easily and has no stink on it.Bottom line - don't submerge it - as the description says, it's not a true dry bag. But, it's pretty dang close. If a bag can protect gear easily and make it through a 3 day marathon of lobstering and kelp harvesting in Maine, I think it's a solid purchase.
